For over 50 years, Sue Ryder organisations have pioneered the development of health and social care across Europe and southern Africa.
In different contexts and in different countries, the organisations associated with Sue Ryder’s name now provide care to young and old, for disabled people and those at the end of life, in both residential and home-based settings.
Today, each of the organisations associated with Sue Ryder's name makes a significant contribution to the provision of care to vulnerable people in 13 countries. Together, our work benefits over 30,000 people a year.

- Palliative care
20 home-based and hospice programmes for people with terminal illnesses in Albania, Italy, Macedonia, Poland and the United Kingdom. - Support for people with disabilities
12 care and rehabilitation centres across Belgium, Macedonia, Malawi, Poland and the United Kingdom -
Services for elderly people
18 homes providing residential, day care and home-based care for older people in Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ireland, Macedonia, Poland and Serbia. -
Community-based nursing & rehabilitation
Four care teams operating in rural Malawi providing treatment for disabled people and people with chronic conditions such as asthma and epilepsy.
