Who are our clients?
The clients of the nursing department (with 56 places) are primarily:
- elderly persons who need nursing care because of a chronic condition or a handicap
- elderly persons who have recently suffered an injury or have been released from hospital and require a period of rehabilitation
-
elderly persons in a difficult social situation - for instance when a person loses his or her life partner, is reconstructing an apartment etc.
The most frequent diagnoses are post-stroke conditions with various levels of disrupted movement, dementia, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular diseases, arthrosis etc.
The verage age of our clients is 86 years.
Although our staff possess superior know-how and skills, Domov Sue Ryder is not a medical facility. Please be aware that we can only accept clients in a stable medical condition for temporary and long-term residence.
