The branch of the Municipal Library of Prague – Michle in Domov Sue Ryder was reopened and inaugurated in October 2006 as the thirtieth automatic library in its network.

The Library funds consist of 17 000 book units, 10 000 of which belong to fiction and 7 000 to universally educational literature, especially social sciences. You can search for books in the electronic catalogue by means of terminals situated in this or other library branches. The catalogue is also accessible on the Internet.

Library funds are continuously replenished and yet there are over 30 titles news and journals.

The library is open on workdays  and apart from book rentals offers an information services and participates on many events taking place on the premises of Michelský dvůr - often in co-operation with the Domov. The library is barrier-free.
