Domov Sue Ryder volunteers help us realize projects, activities and events that could otherwise only happen with great difficulty or on a limited scale. Volunteer help is organized by a project coordinator. Volunteers who come to Domov participate in a variety of activities in different departments.

Volunteers are both the heart and the driving force of our organization.

Volunteers are involved in the activities of the Day centre, the home for seniors, the Sue Ryder shops, the reception desk of the Domov, and the cultural centre. They also help with general administration, fundraising, they provide professional consultations and help bring in new ideas.

Volunteers perform a variety of useful tasks without any financial or material rewards. Such volunteers can be individuals that come on a regular or sporadic basis or belong to a group of employees from companies that decided to support us in this way.
More than 100 volunteers have helped us in 2008.
